Kia Xceed, the successful crossover in an unprecedented version

The successful crossover of Kia’s Ceed family, which has registered more than 120,000 units in Europe, now comes with a new sportier and more contemporary exterior design, an even more sophisticated cockpit but, above all, also introducing the GT-line trim. in the range, it offers a new soul devoted to maximum sportiness, as we have already seen with the Ceed GT.

Kia wanted to keep XCeed among the most interesting proposals of the crowded C Crossover segment, and this was precisely the guiding principle of the new evolution of the car.

Style and engines

The new Kia XCeed displays new targeted aesthetic interventions and a sporty look, as well as offering a highly efficient range of powertrains on the market, which includes powertrain mild hybrid, plug-in hybrid and LPG. The House intervened on the exterior design and made several changes to the interior, underlining the XCeed’s urban sporting nature to differentiate it and make it even more distinctive within the great Ceed family.

The GT-line sporty set-up it was introduced today for the first time in the Xceed range and, combined with the Mild Hybrid engines, guarantees the right mix of dedicated sporty aesthetic elements and driving efficiency. The new sporty version of the highly successful crossover is dedicated to all customers who have no intention of compromising even in terms of style and comfort. The GT-line is therefore today the reference version of the range and challenges expectations with its sporty and unmistakable design.

Kia follows the role of Sustainable Mobility Solutions Provider, and offers the new XCeed to the market with a wide range of efficient and electrified powertrains to meet any need. XCeed in the Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) version, with rechargeable battery pack, ensures a fully electric range of 48 kilometers in the mixed cycle, which corresponds to 60 km of city driving. The engine offer also includes low fuel consumption engines in supercharged version with low inertia turbocharger combined with mild-hybrid systems, which make XCeed the ideal crossover for the lifestyle of the contemporary motorist.

The crossover distinguishes in its segment for being one of the most high-tech proposals, thanks to the latest generation technologies relating to safety, connectivity and infotainment that make it, even in the broad panorama of the Korean brand, a top model. Like the other models in Ceed’s line up, the new Kia XCeed is also built at the high-tech plant in Zilina, Slovakia. The new crossover in its GT-line version will debut on the Italian market from September 2022 with a price list starting from 27,500 euros.
