The major indices of the Italian Stock Exchange and the main European financial markets consolidate in positive territory in the first session of the week. The Fitch agency confirmed the rating on the Italian Republic, set at “BBB”, with a stable outlook. According to Pierre Veyret – ActivTrades technical analyst – some operators have started buying, attracted by lower prices and still solid corporate results, driving most of the European equity indices above key resistances. However, the expert does not rule out that this enthusiasm may be short-lived for European equities where investors have been disappointed by the rise in the consumer price index in Spain. “The ECB is now under increasing pressure to take action against rising prices in the region and markets will remain volatile until the next move by President Christine Lagarde to keep inflation under control “, Pierre Veyret speculated.

The telephone group announced that CDP Equity (a company wholly owned by Cassa Depositi e Prestiti), Teemco Bidco (a Luxembourg company controlled by one or more funds managed by Kohlberg Kravis Roberts), Macquarie Asset Management, Open Fiber and Telecom Italia TIM itself have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (Memorandum of Understanding) relating to the integration project between the TIM and Open Fiber networks.

Stellantis earns 1.86% at € 14.004. The auto giant has announced that it has expanded its existing partnership with Toyota Motor Europe, through an agreement for the production of a new large commercial vehicle that will also have a battery-electric version.
In progress Saipem (+ 0.43% to € 5.63). The engineering company has announced that it has signed a non-binding agreement with Havfram Holding and HVAS Invest Kappa to evaluate potential cooperation in the development and construction of offshore wind farms.
The negative trend of General (-0.73% to € 16.955)after the drop suffered in the session on Friday 27 May.
