During the days of Rimini Wellness, the park of the sea presents itself to the ‘people of well-being’ as a large open-air gym. From “Rimini Waterfront Gym”, the mini box that can be opened for lovers of functional training, inaugurated on June 1st, to the Rainbow bench by My Equilibria in the open-air fitness island together with various types of benches that have characteristics suitable for the activity sports preparation, passing through the already tested Technogym area with sea view: there are more and more outdoor training solutions that you encounter while walking along the new Rimini seafront these days, giving you the opportunity to practice beachfront fitness in all its variants and throughout the year. Many in this sunlit bridge are putting themselves to the test on some of the innovative installations already in operation in the Marina Centro area and offering a series of equipped islands where you can do athletic training for padel, tennis, running and walking, cycling, gags (legs-buttocks-abdominals) and abs.

All are part of the eight areas dedicated to wellness and health, some already built, others nearing completion, planned in the first four sections of the South Sea Park (three in section 1, two in section 2, one in section 3 and finally two in section 8), all freely accessible and which will have different sizes (57 square meters the small ones, 85 square meters + 20 square meters of green area the larger ones) and different characteristics to meet the most varied needs. The philosophy of the Parco del Mare is based on ‘seawellness’ and on the overall improvement of the liveability of urban spaces. A transformation project, which is revolutionizing the sixteen kilometers of waterfront, freeing it from car traffic and which is characterized by new services dedicated to citizens and tourists.

“Those who are strolling along the Tintori promenade these days – comments the councilor for public works Mattia Morolli – encounter new pieces that embellish the Rimini waterfront and its vocation oriented towards greenery, nature, the quality of the sea and well-being through new projects that enrich the offer of spaces dedicated to sport and which sees important specialized companies that choose the city of Rimini as an international showcase. All within a project born from the collaboration with the Strategic Plan and with the Department of Sciences for the Quality of Life of the University of Bologna – Rimini Campus “.
