However, it happens that you don’t want to go to the gym or don’t feel ready for a daily run. So let’s see together some calorie-burning alternatives that we have never considered but that could give results.

Feeling fit and looking nice makes us face the days in the best way. So let’s start by choosing eating habits that can be followed in the long term and that are therefore not excessively restrictive. The second step is to organize our day.
Daily activities are formidable allies of the line. METs will tell us how much we consume during the day. It is a physiological indicator that helps to calculate energy expenditure based on the type of activity performed.
Lighter activities will count at most 3 METs. Those of moderate intensity can reach up to 6 METs. Intense activities will go beyond this limit.
Calorie consumption will then be measured with a simple formula. The METs must be multiplied by the body weight expressed in kilograms for the duration of the activity. For example, if a person of 70 kilos performs light activity for half an hour the calculation will be: 3x70x0.5 = 105 calories.
What activities can make us lose weight
Hugs improve mood and relieve depression and anxiety. It is good to know that they also consume calories. The embrace counts 1 MET. So 10 minutes of hugs for a 70-kilogram person will consume about 12 calories.
We don’t have to be sad when we clean the floors. We turn on some music and vacuum and mop thinking we’re doing good to our silhouette. These are assets worth 3.8 METs. Then one hour of this activity will make us consume about 266 calories. By doing this 3 times a week our energy expenditure will rise to nearly 800 calories.
If we have a garden or a vegetable garden to take care of, we can consider a consumption of 4 MET. A couple of hours dedicated to greenery twice a week will make us burn up to 1,200 calories per week.
But looking good also makes you lose weight. 1 MET is consumed at the hairdresser or beautician. Considering 6 hours a week dedicated to taking care of ourselves, we can count on another 420 calories burned.
Only with these activities that we have considered, we would come to consume about 2,500 calories per week. If we added a little shopping to do at least a couple of times a week for a couple of hours, we would burn another thousand calories. In short, to burn calories quickly at home and away, just fill our days with things to do.
