If the area of South Trento is now ready to welcome Vasco Rossi in grand style, with the premises at the starting blocks amidst innovative menus, set-ups and twenty-four hour shifts, the city center is still strongly divided. And while the Province cares about Google Maps on which it intervened quickly because there are inconsistencies in the geolocation of the walking routes, for example from viale Verona or viale Rovereto, for which double the time is expected. However, merchants don’t care about geolocation and want to close. Yes, because, explain the exhibitors, the 120 thousand people (if not more) expected for the great event, will be concentrated mainly in the area of ​​the Trentino Music Arena.

And therefore, despite the “white night” scheduled for the night between Friday 20 and Saturday 21 May, many shutters will lower at the normal working hours scheduled for the days of daily administration. Or at least, this is the intention to date even if everything can still change, according to the evolution of the situation.

This is because there will be employees who will go to the concert, but also because the event will end after midnight so at least two or three hours will pass before all the participants return to the city. The times will be long, but as mentioned we will evaluate in the next few days ».

On the same wavelength also the Forst, which does not include major twists on the key days of the event, as explained by the owner Francesca Annunziata: “Considering that our streets are barricaded and that it will be difficult to see many people in the city, we are considering closing the kitchen around 11 pm. Those who will take part in the concert will surely arrive by two or three in the morning, too late for us. also because surely these people will have already eaten and drunk in the places closest to the event or in the various stalls. For the moment this is our line, but we will see later whether to keep it ».

In short, a few days before the big concert, it seems that the “white night” will not impact the decisions of the managers of bars and restaurants, who are currently oriented towards respecting their traditional timetables. Also from “Bella Vita” in via Oriola for example, it filters a position that is, after all, consistent with the others, also because the operators underline «every Friday and Saturday is a white night for us, since we work almost all the time. Sure, we’ve stepped up orders to get ready if necessary, but if crowds don’t arrive it wouldn’t be a problem. We are expecting many people, but we do not know how many will come because for sure everyone will be concentrated in southern Trento ».

Also Marco Agostini, of Caffè Italia in a strategic point like Piazza Duomo, at the moment he has not yet made a final decision: «It is clear that keeping open is convenient, I think there will be a lot of people in the city. But I had the experience of Italy’s victory in the European football championship and I must say that I closed out of desperation. If the same situation arises, then closing would be the best solution, but on the other hand we must also evaluate how much staff we will have available to manage a night shift. On the other hand, as I said, I’m sure they will all come to the center after the concert, so I’m still evaluating. “

And also Marco Antonucciwhich in addition to the bar Fiorentina also manages a club in Ravina, is not unbalanced: «There will be a lot of work, but in” leopard spot “.
